this is the emplassement on google map (tin felki)is aproximate montaines (remarque) erounded monts can be cause of a big meteor crash .

i found this meteorite using fisher f 5 .metal detector (in mode iron elim) so f5 md -idontiffied sible as tab-zinc in 6 inches depth.
with the magnet test positiv .im from 15 january 2015 .a meteorite hunter.
perhappes this is a fragument from a big meteor??
remarque .weight 380 grames.(gms)

yes. no junck no rubish .no wrong signals. but must eliminate minerals (volcanic rocks)

It sure looks like you have a great site, your google earth picture is a great indicator. If this is a newly discovered meteorite site you need to get out there and get as much as you can. They are really valuable and when the word gets out there will be allot of other hunters in that area and your Government could block out the site and make it illegal to hunt there. That has happened here in Canada so it can happen any where.
Your pix from the first post are really nice, what kind of camera are you using?

I love your posts, congratulations on the fine meteorite discovery! I agree that it looks like a fragment, so there are probably more pieces in the area. Good luck finding more!

thank you.my government make illegal any kind of prospection (metal detectors) or scientific discoverys for algerians(all other nations can do any think) so ..????
pics are tooken from a tab mad in china (value 60 us dollar)

congratulations! That certainly has the characteristic fusion crust you look for in a meteorite. Consider yourself lucky to have such an interesting area to be able to search!

Amazing finds and photos. On the google maps photo, there is another circular area to the bottom left of where you were searching. Maybe worth checking also.
