First real trip of 2015 and it turned out Great! I got permission on some new acreage and researched to find several potential places. I took advantage of the afternoon to search and locate one of them.
Day #1, Saturday brought an 1868 shield nickel in great shape, 05 Indian, 19 wheatie, watch winder, heavy brass threaded plug, the buttons and numerous other iron artifacts.
Day #2, Sunday brought 1867 2 center, 19s and 29 wheaties, Upper Canada Half Penny Token, smooth on reverse side. 2 awesome locks, small barrel spigot and other relics.
Enjoy the pictures!! Keep Swinging!!

Good bunch of finds...
The brass piece with a hole (next to the watch winder) is part of a barrel tap.

Kind of wishing the other side of the Half penny was a little sharper, but I can say it's the oldest of the coppers 1815-1833 period. Nice selection finds from your area of hunting, a return hunt would be worth while.

Great bunch of finds! I'm not far from you here in SW Ohio and Sunday I found my first Canadian 1/2 penny. Decent shape for a field copper dated 1842. Big Congrats, now we just gotta wait for the snow melt!!

Not really the point, we are all hunters, & you have a great bunch of finds. NEW is relative, actually I call it modern:thumbsup: But it makes little difference to those that 'care'....

Ok, wieghed it, 5.7g. Thanks for the info. Keep Swinging!!

1833, worn smooth on the one side so it could be very well been lost as the other coinage which are great.
