Hi all,

I have not been on in a while. Been busy with rain and kids sports and yard work. Spring is here as are the birds and sunshine. I finally got out for a couple small hunts. My very first find was the ornate piece that probably went to a small drawer or something. Next came a nice 1800's button. It has a waterbury conn. backmark.

The next day I hit a new spot near an old cellar hole. This cellar hole is awesome. A very generous man who's family owns a large amount of land in my town gives me places to hunt on his properties. He is our road agent in town and a really nice man. I finally found this cellar hole that he has been telling me about for two years. I will make a separate post with some pictures and details of the site when I get a chance. Most of my hunting comes from his properties or a few others that I know in town and neighboring towns. Anyway a quick hunt turned up this suspender buckle with some of the plating still on it. Thanks for looking.
