2 firsts for me today

First ring for me. Digging at a local park with my Vaquero. Dug the faint signal and saw gold(ish). Copper ring really got my heart racing!! Cool find for me nonetheless.

First wheatie dug today too along with $5.92 in clad.

All in all an excellent day

I have gotten a lot of aluminum kids rings that look like that even the gold color.$.50 is what they cost in the vending machines.My wife keeps them says they are pretty that is why she is a keeper low maintenance.

Congrats and check really closely for markings inside of that ring. I found one and thought it was as Back Of The Boat described, a vending machine ring. I checked with a loop and in micro text I see it was actually marked sterling with a gold plating over it! Happy Hunting, Sub
