British One Penny - Edward 7th

This one penny copper was found in Baltimore on the last good detecting day of January 2015, Thursday the 29th.
Being a 1902 mint, it is the second year for this penny; the reverse is the standard presentation, not the low ebb tide variety.

Small correction, its the first year for this King. Victoria died in 1901 & halfpennies where produced that year. It's actually in pretty good shape most of mine are worse.

Thanks much for the correction. It actually makes it cooler to me that this was the first year that the penny bore Edward VII. Who would have thought it would turn up in Baltimore.

I agree. Finding Baltimore relics is a thrill. Didn't expect a large copper to show up. Of course when you see that in the hole your mind starts racing as to what it might be.
