Hunt in the woods yields old lock

Found this lock, what's left of it. Made by Fraim. Looks to be made of brass. Anybody know how old it might be? Are they still in business?

According to what I found E. T. Fraim operated from 1895 till 1925, then became Fraim-Slaymaker. Yours is probably one of the later production models.
