Best coin day ever

Finally able to get out today. Headed back to Norfolk,Va. Near the historic water front. Had an amazing day; three first for me. First time finding a Indian head nickel and I found 4 [emoji15]. Also found my first V nickel, a 1908. My 3rd first was an Indian head cent. Will post pictures of the Indian head cent after I clean it. I know but it's so badly corroded.

Jason - I live in Suffolk and I went out for about an hour to one of the local parks. I got nearly skunked except for 1 clad dime and a lot of sloppy mud and tabs. If you want to hook up sometime I am up for it. Congrats on your finds. Glad someone could dig more than mud.

Now that you've dug the groovy old nickels and cent, it's time to go back there for the silver dimes, quarters, haves & dollars! Maybe you won't dig all of them, but definitely have a chance of getting some in that same area, so - go for it! (sorry I sound bossy, too much caffeine & sugar, lol) Andi

Aww Yes your first old coins finds. i was there just a couple of months ago. and this past weekend. Found my first barber quarter. gl hh and congrats on all your first finds.

15 years doing this...never found a buff yet. Took my kid to local park, gave him my old school Whites,,,,he found a 34 buff in 5 minutes. Karma.
