New territory, but no silver today.

Went to the local military base Saturday, and to my surprise, there is a section of housing that has been vacated for renovation. It has been there since the early 60s. I found plenty of clad, including two Kennedy halves, and a nice sterling NRA medallion, but no silvercoins. I am afraid they added more topsoil over the years, and some of the silver may be too deep. I will continue to look for it, but at least I have a new place, and have only gotten through about 1/4 of the units available. Snowed yesterday, so I may have to wait until next weekend. hh

DigginD-- About 7 inches is fair to say. It's an Eagle Spectrum. Some of the clad I found there was about 5 inches deep.
