Killer 2ND REGIMENT ARTILLERY BUTTON 1812

I decided to stop at this old permission of mine on the way home from work..This week has been crazy with work for me, so i needed a hour to relax and swing. .
I knew there would not be much, but did not expect this!!!
This sucker was deep, like 10inch, had the 9inch coil on the deus, and it was just a wisper, but it hit in all directions, didn't even show any black on the horseshoe just a little audio squeak...
I would have to say this is my favorite button i ever dug!!!!!

That is over the top cool George!!! War of 1812 relics are hard to come by. Superb condition with shank in tact to boot !!!! Big Congrats! The only war of 1812 relic I have, is an Officer's Sword "Pummel" one of those unexpected finds about 4 inches deep and I thought clad quarter for sure!! I was at a home built in 1831 so the time period was conducive for a find like that, just surprised the crap out of me!
