It doesn't really matter how long we have been detecting. It seems everyone has at least one coin that has eluded them. I have seen people here say they have been detecting for 15-20 years and never found a Buffalo nickle. I ran into a guy proudly showing off his CTX3030 here in NePa and said he had been detecting since 1995 and had yet to find a LC. He seemed hesitant to believe I could not say the same in only 2 years, lol. I have never found a holed coin of any type. Wtg!

Thank you all very much for the kind comments.

I am expecting a new coil next week, maybe I can knock walkers out too.

I had been detecting for 20 yrs. at the time. I have found Morgans, Walkers, Barbers, Seateds, Spanish 1/2 Reale, & you get the point. Up until that time I had never dug a Barber Quarter. That was my elusive coin all that time. We used to joke about it at the club I belong to. Well, 4 years ago I finally found my first one & she was in great shape. Guess what ? I haven't found one since !! Your Quarter is a very nice coin. Enjoy it !!
