Todays mystery item, seems to be a rattle or percussion noise maker. The copper is very brittle.

Hi deershed, Thanks , no I haven't that was my first one, in past the gold plating has been on other cheaper metals (base metals: copper, pot metal, lead, brass).

Hi there JB Yeah its hard to find stuff (Gold) I will take even micro amounts now To be honest I find more aluminum than anything else. Did a trash infested park yesterday, dang them flattened soda can ends sound good after around 20 + years being down.
