New Spot Gives Up Variety of Finds

Checked out a new a spot today. Did a couple miles worth of hiking on some steep wooded terrain, but ended up find the cool stuff 20 feet from my car.


Not sure what this is, but it was deep.
Small lock
Before cleaning
After cleaning
Sterling spoon

Old bullet casing. I would like to know more about this type of casing.
Possibly a lead fishing sinker? Found it near a creek.

Coolest bell I've ever found

I agree. I didn't find the spot till the last 20 min of the hunt. Hoping next trip will turn some some coin up.

Your bullet casing looks to me like a Henry casing. Clean it up it may have an "H" stamped on it. They were generally used from the 1860's to later 1800's. Here's a live one I found.
