Got out today with jdsly and cbxjon to hunt a couple of our sites. Found some relics and this different looking decorative button. Really had me excited at first because at first glance it reminded me of jdsly's rattlesnake button he found awhile back! Disappointed it wasn't military but still happy with such a different looking button. Amazing how something so fragile can survive that long in the ground! Thanks for looking and HH! 20150328_203537-1.jpg 20150328_203549-1.jpg 20150328_203558-1.jpg

That button is really impressive and could have been so easily damaged over the years. Nice save!

Hi Darby; It is a Victorian era womans coat flower button from about 1870 - 1910. Nice find. PEACE:RONB

Thanks for the comments. Thanks RonB for the id too. I like the key too tylerbdad. Found it on the surface and is the first iron key I've found. Wouldn't have dug it being iron glad I saw it in top!
