Had a good day with my Dad and my son at an old house site and the site where my son found the Officers eagle buckle last week .
Dad found the stirrup and other big iron stuff and this eagle button .
I found the spur remains and the silver dollar sized Chinese thing . Plus a 58 Rosie .
First one of those I had found in a while .
Crazy windy up on the hill trying to swing the detector . Your Chinese coin is probably Szechuan 50 or 100 Cash, and I'm thinking 100 based on the size. You might check it out a bit more though, as there is a very similar Hupeh coin that is fairly pricey. Year 3 (1914).

Copper according to what I looked up. Looks like copper .
It was in an area where I had just dug up 4 old zinc mason jar lids. It's a wonder I bothered. I think it came up lower on my vdi numbers than the lids . That gave me hope for something different.

It is Chinese Szechuan Province 20 to 100 Cash coin.
The inscription reads: Chuang Hua Min Kuo.
Can't tell the date but those coins were only between 1912 and 1914.
