Decided to get out bright and early considering I have work at 3pm today, so all I wanted to do was go to a target rich place, so I hit a local park, this place is 52 acres and has been pounded in all the old sections for years, I figured what better place to learn a little with the etrac, I ended up with about 20 clad coins and 2 wheats from there, a 1917 greenie, and a recent drop 1958

stayed there about 2 hrs and hit my park where I get the wheats and occasional silvers, this was a better place, I was digging wheats at about 5-6" in areas that I hit with the atpro, most of them had grunts for tones also cause junk was in the holes with them, I also managed to get my first silver for the year and with the etrac, a 1943p war nickel, sorry dave lol!!!!

once I start asking permission, hopefully the silver will start flying out of the ground lol!

Still to wet/mucky to do private properties in my opinion

Thanks, it's way different than the atpro, my atp was easy to learn, this one is a bit harder, that's ok, the etrac can play hard to get, I'll get there!

Looks like you're on your way!

It's always fun to play/learn a new toy. But, were you doing a direct side by side comparison? How do you know the ATP was giving just "grunts"? Or was that an assumption? ;)

Like I said, it's fun learning a new toy. So, what's next? Which machine will you upgrade to now? Before you finish learning the current one? ;)

It's not rocket science lol, I feel after 2 years I learned that atp pretty good, I never used the vdi, just the tones, I've had my eye on the etrac since I started detecting, the atpro just paved the way

Glad you got what you wanted. May it be the answer you hoped for.
You're not alone. At least you made someone happy besides yourself. ;)

Looks like your out there having a great time learning the E trac's language. Nice finds!
So now do you carry a shovel instead of a digger?
