Today was a great day of detecting. My wife and I went to an old house I've hunted pretty hard. And today she got her first silver! 1929 Merc. I had been feeling bad for her cause I had already found a 1940s wheat, 1897 V nickel, 1945 war nickel, 1906 indian, 1904 watch Fob and my first ever seated! A 1851 half dime! I was very happy for her. Probably more than she was. I added a 1954 Rosie after she found her silver dime. Enjoy the pics. The watch fob is from the 1904 election. Parker and Davis ran against Teddy Roosevelt. Nice finds.

Quindy, thanks. No actually I was using my AT Pro. I save my F 75 for my relic hunting.

A seated half dime is not an easy task. It takes the right spot and more importantly a good detector operator. Those suckers hide!!

Congrats!

Nice finds. Found a variety of that fob around 25 years ago.
