Great day! Two firsts!

Today was a great day of detecting. My wife and I went to an old house I've hunted pretty hard. And today she got her first silver! 1929 Merc. I had been feeling bad for her cause I had already found a 1940s wheat, 1897 V nickel, 1945 war nickel, 1906 indian, 1904 watch Fob and my first ever seated! A 1851 half dime! I was very happy for her. Probably more than she was. I added a 1954 Rosie after she found her silver dime. Enjoy the pics.

The watch fob is from the 1904 election. Parker and Davis ran against Teddy Roosevelt. Nice finds.

A seated half dime is not an easy task. It takes the right spot and more importantly a good detector operator. Those suckers hide!!
