Found this while digging through a nice pile of junk from a house clean-out today. Never found a real war helmet before! :D

Did some research and discovered it was made by "E Camelinat & Co Ltd" in Birmingham in 1940. These helmets were made between 1939 - 1942.

There are two inverted green triangles on either side of the helmet. No idea what the symbols mean. So cool! :headbang:

My first thought was a civil defense insignia but the triangle is pointed the wrong way it seems.

This is exactly what I thought too at first.
Would be cool if it turns out to be from some rare squad or something becasue so far I cannot find anything on it.
I think I'll post this in the "what is it" forum soon, maybe they can help.
