I have not had a lot of time lately, so I am posting Tuesday finds today sorry...I went to one of our spots that we hammered again today and bingo it gave it up again...A pretty nice 1861 fatty Indian, an 1890 "V", some wheat's and other junk, but I got 2 curios items, one has a dogs head and a really neat chain and the other some type of tube with what seems to be gold on each end.

If anyone has any idea on eather of these items I would love to hear your theory's...most of the items found at this site seem to be late 1800-early 1900...

Thanks for looking H.H. TnT

That so called tube, looks like a handheld Lazier pointer, likely copper ends.

Keep @ it and HH!!

Nice finds, TnT!

Good detail on the fatty IH, a real nice coin.

The tube thing: I'm leaning towards a (snuff ;) ;D) container. Yeah, that's it.

Just a guess, but could that be a match holder? I've heard of them but never have seen one....

Great finds,,,, not sure what the tube is, but I would pull it apart also.... We used to have something similar that has a piece of paper inside with the persons personal particulars... in case they were in an accident or something.... Just a guess.

God bless
