So, I was going over my yard yet again(still chilly and frozen ground in many places) and there is this spot where I pulled out about 15 new Zincolns, the best was about 3/4ths intact. I got a little bored not finding anything and went back to pull out some more of these non usable coins. I pulled out 5 of these nasty little things and then see this little beauty of a pin looking up at me. Just researched it and found out it is a US Army Infantry School pin. It is marked Sterling Balfour. No idea how old it is, from what I found it is still in use today. That unit can be found in Fort Benning Georgia. I still remember seeing those everywhere when I went to jump school. Great memories that is.
