17th century trade site finds & mystery button???

The site dates to the 1630s The button is lead and has some sort of an A symbol hammered in to the shank?? i also found the kettle points, pendant, brass bead and all other finds pictured at this site. Thanks for looking HH

I guess it makes more since it being a lead seal but at first glance i thought button. Does anyone have any info on 17th century seals? The first guy to trade at this site was dutch

coop imho, lead appears to be a damaged bale seal . Are you sticking around this forum ??? , lots of new diggers

Very nice finds. The kettle points are really cool. I have seen them posted , but never found anything like that. GL&HH!

Its actually a Lead Cloth Seal, not a bag seal or a button.
