Cross - wheat - silver

Today I finished up the day with a brief hunt from 6:30 to 8:00 PM, going back to the same school where I found the 1951 quarter last Sunday evening.

So, similar scenario, but not much but foil and aluminum shards for the first half, then some clad came through. I moved to an adjacent area as the sunlight was fading and found the next three targets in succession: an aluminum cross imprinted with "Jesus Christ is Lord", then a 1944 wheat, and finally a 1943D merc. Silver on the Lord's Day...again! :icon_thumleft:

Congrats on the Merc. Seems like you found a nice area to detect.
