Well, this spring has not been kind to me. Evver since my "double" silver ring, I've not found any precious metal... until today! I was using the Garrett AT Pro in a tot lot and I had a tiny/deep signal. It was just a 43/44 bouncing up to 45 sometimes. I dug through the wood chips and then a few inches into the old pea gravel that lined the tot lot years ago. When I saw it I thought it was a bent up pulltab but then I noticed that it was really a small/thin ring. It has 9 small stones in it that I assume are not real (because it's 10k). The Ring is stamped TJT 10KP and just beccause of this hobby I know that 10KP doesn't mean 10K Plated but it means 10K plumb gold which means it's EXACTLY 10k. It is probably too far gone to be straightened but I'm going to see if my favorite jeweler will try anyway!

It did have a sweet mellow sound with the pro audio but I wouldn't say that it sounded better than some canslaw. I enjoyed trying out my new Garrett Carrot too...

Happy Hunting guys.

Nice save swolfe :occasion14: Could be real stones, don't think 10k means the item is cheap. Thats why a diamond tester could be handy.

It was probably a 200.00 ring brand new. It's very tiny.
