Hey guys,

This week's digs have been all over the place ranging from 1780 Rev War button to a 1911 Merc! The SC mud continues to produce fantastic relics including a large tomac button, copper flat buttons, and a Double Gild Orange Colour dandy.

Among the earliest digs were three pewters- 2 buttons with intact shanks and an interesting ring with a blown glass ornament.

My military pewter button streak continued this week with a barely recognizable 42nd Black Watch button from the Rev War (props to IronPatch for the ID) and an early 1800s Navy Eagle flat button (no benchmark).

Still a mystery this small copper spoon. I am thinking it may be an old cocaine spoon based on other 19th century examples- meant to be worn from a necklace.

Also managed a 1911 Merc, roached V Nickel and the remnants of a old copper.

Thanks for looking!

Hey nice finds. The Merc cannot be 1911, they weren't being minted until 1916.
