Bad news : I only had 2 before lol. I got out this morning with the intention of finding silver. Some days nothing else will do. Doesn't have to be old or big silver. First place I stop for permission, the fellow says " Sure. I'd be interested to see what you find." The first 5 targets were wheats, a '61 Rosie and the '43 Mercury dime. Of course I had no cell service so I could share with Cjon ( he always loves to know people are getting silver while he is at work ). Next target was a bottle cap and it was downhill from there lol. Thanks for looking.

Great finds OD. But just so you know the CMS is technology savy and they track other silver finders locations. Might want to brush up on your smoke signal skills

Lol...this isn't the normal old sites I like to hunt ( the house was built in 1910 ), but I knew there might be one or two hiding there. The owner showed me the area where there used to be a sandbox. He thought there might be some tootsies hiding there, but I didn't find any for him.

Good show OD! A couple of little silvers are always welcome in my pouch.

Smittyman & Beez have the best time sending me silver pics while I am at the office. One at a time no less, so I get 6 or 8 texts from them, whenever they are together.

Ahhhh... good time and good friends... I can't wait until I have some!

PW, today is the start of 14 days off work for me. I may just give that a try!

Lol Tom! I would post the pic Chris sent to me when I finally had cell service, but this is a family friendly site.

Yeah, it does make you feel a little better about the hobby, doesn't it? It gets a little harder finding them every day. Thanks!

TBD, you have set the bar too high now. They won't waste their time with a Mercury or a Rosie!

Four silver is better than none! Congrats!

You need to get a hologram of your silver finds and just aim it in the clouds, I'm sure Cjon will see it....and be very happy for you, or not, depending on how his day is go'n.

Tom UNTIL? YOU are a charter member of the Charlotte Silver Mafia that says good times and Great Friends in itself.
And OD the CMS claims every piece of silver west of the Mississippi belongs to them.

I usually don't hunt with anything in particular in mind, but today was an exception.

I never thought of that MBB. I bet he'd like that even better than a text lol.

Good finds Dude.

Thanks Scraps. It isn't anything like the great stuff you find, but it doesn't take a lot to appease me lol.

Great hunt in my book! I heart Mercs. I'm actually impressed by the wheaties. In the tens, maybe hundreds of thousands of swings I have taken over the years I have found exactly ONE wheat penny in the ground and that was just recently. No clue why the avoid me.

Now, look OD. I like you. But, really! There's a limit to patience! 4 !?!? The year is half over for heck's sake!!

We all have a slump from time to time, but, MAN! :dontknow: !!

If this trend doesn't change soon, we're gonna have to just send you down to the minors and call up Cjon. Might not be permanent but
we just gotta do something! I know that CJ only uses his ATP as a hat rack but at least he can find a war nick now and again. Now, cmon man!
Shape a up a bit! :nono:

;)
