Got out with Nepa-Don and Klug today. Within the first few minutes I found a Sterling heart pendant and a Wheat. After a long period of no signals. I decided to work my way down the hill. On the way down I found a round ball. When I got to the bottom of the hill I dug a small military button. Checked the area a little more and came out with 6 more buttons. The backs are marked Waterbury Button Co.

Looks like somebody left their jacket behind and you found what's left of it. Nice silver pendant!!

Very nice score there, looks like what was on my dads WWII dress uniform for buttons. :occasion14:

Thanks! Between gklug and I. We found a total of 12 buttons. I agree that it was a complete jacket. I never seen buttons this small. Usually I find the bigger ones.

Thanks! Wasn't sure if the men or women had different dress buttons, because of the size. Thanks for the info

That's a coincidence the day before Memorial Day! I bet you were pumped getting the silver so quickly.

Didn't even think about that. Would have made for a much better title. Finding silver quick is always awesome. Don found another silver heart pendant in the same area. We searched the area good thinking it was a charm bracelet. No dice.

We had a good time, and to think I almost opted out. It was in the freshly burned out woods just outside a late 1800's Park
