Man, I CAN'T wait to get over there. It's going to feel like an eternity waiting for March to come.

Really exciting finds you guys made, and great video as always.

Best time for me. Never heard a Saxon Strap End called a Alligator Fastner before :laughing7:.. But some nice finds, and a great looking field.

This tour goes either spring or fall. The next available slots are in the spring 2016. The only bad part is that I'll be so rusty from being housebound by winter. I'll just be happy to have ground that isn't frozen when I get to jolly ol' England.

Or, if you have a better time of year in mind, I'd be happy to come stay at your house and dig at all your hotspots!

I guess it all depends on crop rotation, & you must have land that they plant in the Spring, we have very little of that in our area. (SS must be similar). March is one of our leanest, maybe worst was bad English because June is our worst.

Yeap, $1000 a week OK?

No need to be sorry, but I'm surprised that you never made more of it, because it's actually a great find. The head is normally known as a Zoomorphic head.

Ok, as long as that's Canadian funds haha, our dollar sucks right now.

I'm going with the same company as Dr.Tones, and I've heard great reviews. This will be my first trip, it's all new to me.
