I would have been happy with ANY of these at day's end

After a week of rain I got out for 2-hours on a site I've been hunting off & on for the past year. Each time I return, I usually end up hunting a few of the same areas that I've hunted before only I change the direction of my grid pattern. . . and what a difference that can make in "keeper" totals at the end of the day.

The targets that I "missed" out on the last time were not missed today. . . these include a 1917 Merc, Wheat cents ranging from 1911 to 1936, a 1930's Melvin Purvis Post premium badge (my second badge from this site) and a Manoil soldier.

When I thought it couldn't get any better than this, my next target was a Standing Liberty Quarter and then a few paces away, I recovered a sterling silver Air Corp I.D. bracelet. . . and the good news is, there's a name on it's back. After researching family records, I learned it's owner passed away in 1953. With this and other info, I'm 99% certain I can return his I.D. to his surviving family members. I'll keep you posted.

Thanks for looking!
