Went to a park today and found a few keepers. The Army pin was down 8 inches (any help with time frame or ID is greatly appreciated). The 1944 D war nickel was down around 6". The gold locked was found under an asphalt walk way from the 1920's. I got a good signal right on the edge and decided to dig it. I dug down 7 inches and got a pinpoint to the side. It still had pictures in in when lost but they were denigrated whenI found it. Thats what all the green is from. Also found the bat charm it's only 3/8" but dug it at 4". Thanks for looking

Hello MackDog,

Congratulations on the finds! Interesting coincidence, Monday, I dug the same Army pin less the "army" lower piece - very cool

Any idea of age or history? When I found it the one side rocker wasn't attached had to rebut the circle through it.

Sweet finds, congratulations. The Army pin has the British and French flags, so probably commemorating service in WW2, European theater. The blue stars usually refer to veterans, maybe a Mother's pin proudly noting service of two children in the Army? Does it still have the clasp on the back side? The locket is beautiful and the bat pin cool too. Sub 8-)

I was gonna guess Sweet Heart pin - but that makes sense with the two stars denoting the sons/daughters serving in the Army .
My guess would also be WWII. (just a wild a$$ guess )
