Hi All,

I am a new user of TreasureNet from Minnesota.

I detected on Sunday and Monday of Memorial Day Weekend, and blew my mind!8-)

I was detecting at an 1870's School house and church site with full permission.

For the first time ever... I was yelling out loud (to no one but two horses in the field next to me!)

This is what the metal detecting hobby is all about....

Really nice saves there, the Barber quarter is nice, but the SLD steals the show and the pendant is interesting also :occasion14: on :metaldetector: :treasurechest:

P.S. Also nice Fatty IHP there took me 31 plus years to find one of those and about 30 for my first SLD. So now you know how hard those are to get out here :laughing7:

Congrats on the really killer finds. Remember that adventure... it doesn't happen like that all of the time. Heck, it NEVER happens like that for me! GL&HH.

Hey!

Which Indian Head is the "fatty" and how do I know I found one??

It's a thicker penny right? What are the "fatty" dates?

I love the feeling of when you see that great find in the whole and just start jumping around. It pretty much sums up why we metal detect.

I could not even dream of a hunt like that, the best I get are a few older finds in a day, never that kind of volume of finds!
