I got back again to my spot for another work time quick hunt and found some more keepers. I still haven't found the coin spot on this side of the stone wall but I know I'm getting close. Nothing cleaned yet because I'm still on the road. It's the only time I'm glad to be working or I wouldn't get to go to this spot. Thanks for looking! [emoji2]

That one buckle is just killer. The frame and buttons are nice too. That's an OLD spot you are hunting. Congrats.

Sweet buckles! With relics like that the coins will show themselves eventually. Nice finds.

Did a little wash up. The dandy button ended up having a flower design on it and the big buckle has a makers initials on it. Anyone know what the maker is? If not I could try a bit of oil and see if it helps show the letters. Also anyone know what the tube thing is???

There was a W Tutin of burmingham that was a maker of colonial shoe buckles. I'm thinking that may be it! [emoji2]
