So tonight after work I grabbed the 3030 and braved the tick and fly infested forest that I enjoy hunting. I invested in a head bug net. Great purchase it worked very well. So I got to detecting and it wasn't to long before I got a nice silver hit. Dug this awesome 1800 draped bust dime. Wow! I can't stop looking at it. Was a few other flat buttons and what looked like a worn to the flat draped half cent copper.

I will post some better pics tomorrow . I usually use my front window sill for perfect lighting. But it was dark when I got home. Just couldn't get a good focus up close.

I had to look at it for a bit, partially because the software turned it 90 degrees and partially because the picts make the front look like its a copper...

In any event - that is an unbelieveable find and with a good picture I'm sure the mods will put it up top! Congrats on what should be a banner find!

Wow, not only quality but also a VERY low mintage coin! Considering that even at a bare minimum "net F--porous" grading, this would still be in the vicinity of a $2,000.00 coin, I'm nominating it for the banner up top! (And the details actually warrrant a higher grade!) Congrats!!
