Was able to get out for a short hunt this evening in some of the just rained on sandy ground. Found another silver coin, always a welcome find! It was about three inches down and nestled between a couple of trash items but the 6 inch Treasure Seeker coil , did not miss its scent !

The President item was around 5 inches down at least and sounded very smooth in pinpoint mode. Read out at 40 conductive just like a wheat cent. Soon as it was out of the soil it was a whats this ? I quickly scanned the item to recheck if I had dug the proper target, yep same reading of 40. It is quarter sized but reads like a wheat, oh its something different for sure !

Thanks for dropping by. :metaldetector: :headbang: and :hello2: :treasurechest:

I like tokens, they are rare finds and very interesting. Good job, nice saves.

Nice finds.
I always love the silver but I really like that Harry S. Truman coin/token.

Looks like that 6" coil is doing a great job. I really need to get one of those.

Got a new quarter and dime record with that coil my top numbers are now 23 quarters and 28 dimes for one hunt. Am really happy with that coil!
