Been to my new spot 5 times now in the last few weeks and I've been pretty lucky with the finds.

Trade musket side plate.

I found this tag from "The City of Owen Sound" which now lays at the bottom of Lake Huron. This is the second luggage tag I've found from a ship that has sank in the Great Lakes.

great collect of finds you have there. What would you date the Jesuit rings to be? What is the silver disc in the last picture?

It's aluminum (or seems like it) and has the Jesuit IHS on it..found near the rings.

Hey WawaDuane,,,,

What's the approximate age of the rings? And how much is one of those rings worth?

I would be interested in buying one,,and either having it made wearable or used as a model for a replica.

The rings are mid to late 1600's according to Robert Bennett who wrote the book (literally) on such finds..."What They Left Behind". I have no idea what one would be worth. I found a beautiful one last year also. I've found 4 1/2 now....I'm pretty lucky....here's last years.

Nice relics you've got there. I'm sure some old coins will be popping out of the ground soon.

Great hunt! You found some very interesting artifacts. The rings have some detail, hope they clean up well.
