Chunky ring ugly ring

I can hardly call myself a detectorist this year....Ima blame it on rain and work[emoji6].. got out twice a few months ago, to cure the itch from winter. Both times Were to fields, I already hit pretty hard. But I always think there's some gold left. Anyhow struck out both times, and havnt been out since. Two short before night hunts in a row I hit something to talk about at least hah. Last night the nice barber and such. Tonight I hit this ugly but Chunky silver piece. Not bad I'll take it. I can't really make out what the marking says. I thought the color looked off and might be fake but it tested good. Enough talking here's the pics

Kinda looks like A.T MEXICO 325 whatever that means. I like it anyway. I'm embarrassed to admit I ain't found 1 darn ring in a year of digging! Maybe it's older than it looks. Nice find.

Bcutting Plugs, that's a hefty ring. I'd like to know what it weighs. Nice find. Hot diggity, if you live anywhere near the coast or some form of a beach or wading area, check the sands there...as people lose rings readily(wet hands). Old swimming holes too. Also, I have had decent luck finding rings around park benches. School grounds and tot lots canbe good places sometimes. Give it a try. They can be anywhere, but try places like that.

I did a Google image search on Mexican silver rings & yeah a lot of them were 925. No clue what that means either. Thanks Jarl & I'm sure your right. I could search a few beaches, but I'm only focusing on fur trade era or older right now. It's gotta happen though.

Those are nice finds. But, with that said, if the only time we have "something worth talking about" is ONLY if it has age or intrinsic value, then, we need to reevaluate what we're doing out there. If, in fact, one is out doing this as a job. Then, yeah, nothing but valuables is of interest.

As for me, I quite enjoy sharing how a hunt has gone. "Good" or "bad". Makes me a bit boring, I know. Still, I feel lots of people enjoy reading the stories here.

Don't just report when you find something worth it. Let the people here decide what was worth looking at. Share a bit more often, you'll like it.

88-92 on the at pro--bout 3 inches so yeah it scream kinda thought pop can but had to dig it.. 11.7 grams

Thanks for the tips.. Not to close to the ocean but I like to search sports complex fields.. That's where I find most of my rings.. I have found a decent amount . Not like some of the t-neters but I have a decent collection .. 11.7 grams

It's 925 but can't make out what the words say it looks like at Mexico but when I type it in I can't find anything on it

Def put some fuel on the fire.. I do need some new spots though.. I'll take gold n rings any day obviously hah but I want to old spots I love the old coins
