Had to hit Safeway since the wife is too busy spending money with the daughter in Reno. My son wants to turn in his change jar. We walk up and boom! A great looking 1941 Merc and a 1964 Roise in the reject tray!!! Sweet! The 1965 quarter was there as well and when we kept putting into the machine but it would kick it out every-time. It's just a normal 1965 so we decided to keep it since it was also in great shape...........This is our "first" coin-star find!! Thanks for looking and keep checking those machines :hello2:

Congrats on the coin star score. Don't know about the GW but something the machine doesn't like.

Nice! I keep looking. All I've found so far is modern coins. I'll still take it. Free money! Congrats!

I've been silver dry since Dec/12 when I detected a Franklin half in my stepdaughters yard.....except for 2 rosies from the Coinstar, seperate finds. Now I check it every time I go shopping...ha.

While it's unlikely, 1965 Quarters on Silver Planchets are known errors. Check the sides to make sure it's actually clad. If not, you REALLY hit the jackpot.

Based on the condition of all the coins, were thinking someone found grandmas loose change and dumped it. Wish we could have been there when they were cashing it in.:dontknow:

Treasure is where you find it. I found a penny about 10 ft away from the coin star machine at wally world, does that count. Congrats on those silvers and the quarter.:occasion14:
