Hi everyone, Took some time to enjoy the cool weather after work today and found my 1st state button from the Civil War. The button is a Mass. Volunteer. it is in really nice shape to boot. Don't ever believe people when they say a place is hunted out. Here are some pictures. Thanks for looking.

I said in a reply yesterday that I can always count on finding buttons in the "hunted out" spots. Many people choose to ignore those midrange signals that so many old buttons give. Nice find!

Great lookin button..Congrats....I don't believe in the whole hunted out theory...With the advancements in detectors daily...People could be discouraged from hunting a site, because of the tag of Hunted out...has been aplied to it for 5 to 10 years....And many advances has there been since then...

Great find my friend....State buttons rock....

Great button. I have went back over and over a spot in my huge field (50' by 50' spot in 7 acre field) that has always been the place for the keepers to pop out, and something new always pops out of that little spot. Between A.J. and Travis and myself, something always comes out of that spot. Its never hunted out.....HH.....Bill

Great button find.

I've been hunting one site for many years with some of the deepest machines made and this year I made my biggest find yet at that same site.
