Found this last week
It's a first for me! ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1438521101.111242.jpg ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1438521121.627677.jpg A complete Viking copper alloy pin. The find Liason officer has it for now. Apparently it's a wrythen headed pin of the viking period. There has been 2 viking treasure finds in this area I search so I'm gonna keep looking.

MIKE THATS A NICE PEICE OF HISTORY YOU HAVE FOUND THERE. IT IS AMAZING THE RELICS OF THE PAST CAN SURVIVE SO LONG.

Great find, specially whole like that, but it has as much chance being Anglo-Saxon as Viking. I've had them off Saxon Sites.
