Thank you Al for the Banner vote--I really appreciate it ! It was just one of those rare times for me when everything came together. The woman who owned the property was very happy to see the eclectic finds and I think it was almost as memorable for her too as it was for me.

Man, that's an insane number of special coins. WHAT A HUNT! I can definitely understand why this hunt will be burned into your brain for a long time. Good job on making a friend in the landowner, that's a very valuable skill right there!

Unbelievable, ,, that was an incredible hunt. That Druid is a coin that would of had me considering retiring from metal detecting. How do you beat getting a coin like that?

Eric that's a crazy good hunt with some very unique and special finds. I'm voting Banner. In my opinion these are the types of finds that should go up. Unique and rare. Great job bud

You got it, brother. We're gonna have to call you Erik the Green with all those cool coppers you found! Just make sure you bring those with you when you come up - I want to see them! I found a dateless KG II yesterday and was pumped so I can only imagine how you felt with that pocket full of oldies.

Wow Erik - talk about an amazing hunt!! That's an unbelievable number of rare and unique finds, and to recover all those in one short hunt is mind-boggling. I wonder what kind of site that was?? That sandy soil treated your finds quite well as everything seems to be in incredible condition. You were fortunate to find those at a detectable depth as my experience has shown that relics and coins in sandy wooded areas or yards generally sink beyond the capabilities of any machine. Maybe the roots played a role. Regardless, I know you couldn't be happier with those finds. Congrats on a fantastic hunt!
MY BOOK HAS SOLD OUT OF ALL 1200+ COPIES IN LESS THAN 4 MONTHS. NO 2ND PRINTING IS ANTICIPATED AT THIS TIME. THANKS TO ALL WHO MADE THIS PROJECT A SUCCESS.

I would have been happy with a KG! The rest for me were just icing on the cake (lots of icing ) -- it turned out to be one of those rare properties with not tons of signals to dig, but everything deep was an old coin or relic. Day two provided some nice relics as well.
