I just got in the door and so excited to post this that i didn't even rinse and check the dates of the coin spill. Ive been wanting a US silver for along time and now i have some. I see standing liberties and barbers in the mix.i will post more pictures and dates later when I'm done cataloging all of them. They are mostly all quarters with some dimes and five cent pieces mixed in. I thought i wouldn't top my 26 silver Newfoundland coin find a awhile back but i did. They all were in a small area on a old driveway and the ground was packed hard. Took me two hours to dig them all out. At a quick glance they look to all be from late 1800's to late 1920's. Thanks for looking! [emoji2]

I was complaining the other day coming back home from my trip because of how old the spots were there. I guess close to home hunting isn't so bad after all. My area has been good to me! [emoji2]

Great high pitch signals and multiple quick beeps all around the little spot. You can see in this picture the little area they were all in...

Better yet how did so much US coinage get there? Was there broken glass mixed in at all? Could have been in a mason jar and may be more! I would build a sifter and sift that whole area ..... Probably more there is my guess. Looking forward to unraveling the mystery.

Wow that's amazing! Can't wait to see better pics and get the tally of types and dates. Is that sand I see in the background?

That's not a "spill" its a hoard ! Wow nice job

I didn't really know what to call it but the way it was scattered around in that small area it looked like a spill! Haha

Nope its a hill made of giant rocks. I am in Peggy's cove NS area after all. Haha
Thats why i wanted to try to hunt the road up it because i knew nothing could go very deep. The road was right beside a old homestead property that is now all gone with fill and a modern house. I knew that was probably the only spot left original of the old place and i was right. [emoji2]
