I'm Such a Stud

Forty-five minute dive yesterday at the old town swimming area. When I rolled in I was surprised to see that the beach was devastated from the torrential rains we've had. The entire beach had washed into the pond. Right then and there I knew that detecting would be difficult. I did manage to find fifty-two cents and three earring studs.

They all have stones, but not sure what they are.

Good saves,, the storms and high winds that passed through the Lake Champlain area, have put the water off limits,, (contamination).

Higgy I know how you feel. I've been doing pretty good all summer at the lake And with us 5-6 inches down on rainfall and power company letting water through the dam for power generation the lake had dropped about 4 feet and exposing about 30 feet of more beach and I can get out further and further then it happened. A couple of different days of downpours and beach washed into lake with every piece of foil and pull tab it held. It was great while it lasted.

Nice! Congrats!
The studs maybe silver, test them. Stones are possible emerald, and aquamarine can't see the other one.

With my Tiger Shark, these studs sound like a little blip in discrim, but comes loud and clear in all-metal mode. If it were just a wee bit louder, I'd be happy because I have a problem hearing faint signals when exhaling. The bubbles are loud! I'll have to say, I really like my Shark. Its a great machine for freshwater. I'm finding stuff 12"-14" down, and its wearing my arms out from fanning! Good exercise though. I feel like million bucks this summer!
