got a new detector today
just a gold century 1018 off ebay

less than a half hour playin with it just tryin to figure out the threshold and ground balance stuff
hit a nice signal and decided what the hell dig it and see. To my suprise i hit a plastic lid with my trowel
dug it out shook it, and heard something inside. It was full of water (very dirty water). look inside and found
a 10k gold bracelet with a 10k heart pendant has small diamonds in it too. A ring that very much appears to be gold although i cant make out the stamping inside the ring(hope its gold its nice and heavy).
The big bracelet looks hand made put i dont think it is real silver

anyway thats the story i couldnt believe this was buried in my back yard.
Guess ya never know huh?
i'll try to get some better pics to show more of the detail

thanks for lookin'

HH

Oh yeah this is my first gold!!

Now THAT is soooooo cool. That ring looks fantastic. Great job. I can't imagine what you'll find once you get that new detector tweaked in. ;D
By the way, is that Stonehenge in your backyard? ;)
Way to go,
MM

There's got to be a story as to why they were buried, but we'll probably never know why. You have to be lovin' the hobby so far. Good luck to you and I hope we see many more finds from you.

How cool is that! Treasure is where you find it ;)

Took the liberty of editing your photos so they fit on screen better.
