First 1800's silver and first seated is a 1849 Half Dime. Some colonial stuff too
Went to an old school in another town tonight. That didn't pan out as it has most likely been pounded over the years. Soil was very dry too.
So I went too you guessed it, the Pomander site, for an hour before dark. Very few signals but still finding great stuff. Started out with a 1917 wheat. Then got the brass? nail, round ball, and a smallest crotal bell I have seen. With very little light left I dug the seated half dime. It's pretty worn and I killed the back side with the digger but don't care because I now have my first 1800's silver and my first seated.
