Went to an old church near me for the first time and got around five wheaties and a 57 Washington. First silver quarter since like June. Also got 1919 Buffalo. Church is much older but I'll take it

I then went to the one room schoolhouse that has produced in the past. Very few good signals so I worked around a huge old tree I had been avoiding due to all its roots everywhere. Got the 1909 IHP and nearby my first seated dime. 1889 in decent shape. Best hunt in weeks

Great job! I haven't had a silver quarter since last year. Haven't found an Indian or a buff since the spring, and NEVER a seated of any sort. Very nice hunt.

Those quarters are scarce, that's for sure. I have found more seated dimes than Washington quarters! The old timers sure cleaned them out. Nice finds

The quarter was masked by iron so I nearly didn't dig it. Probably why the old timers missed it

Awesome digs! Congrats on some sweet sweet silver! Does the 1909 Indian happen to have an s mint mark on the back?

I wish. I've never found an S mint mark on any coin I think. Too close to Philadelphia I guess

Seated coins don't have to be perfect. If you have full Liberty on it, then you have a great coin. Most Seated coins are usually a lot smoother than yours. Great coin, & congrats on your first.

I'll gladly take a Barber quarter in any condition. Really want to knock that one off the bucket list but its so hard to find quarters. Wouldn't be surprised if it takes many years. Something to keep me going for sure

Very nice coin recoveries! Congratulations.

I too love finding seated coins, they always bring a smile to my face.
