After my quick dig today I decided to go back to the same hole-- especially since I found a great piece there already.

I dug up so much glass it just never stopped. But I got another sterling piece and I have no idea what it is. It look like a long letter "L" but has 3 loops on the back-- like it was sewn to something. Just doesn't make sense. Haven't found any marks yet-- just the ones I made when digging it up. Would love to hear if someone knows what it is.

The other stuff... glass from every era.

I was thinking old protractor but I doubt that I will try to brainstorm on it awhile.
