Last week I had my best two days of hunting ever for total silver. I dug 18 silver coins! With some help from a tip I had an area that goes back to the 1870's that is now a construction area. Today I returned not expecting to find much, I thought I had dug most all of the good stuff last week....Wrong! I dug out 4 more silver coins today!
the best was a 1945-D Walking Liberty Half! Two Rosie dimes and a 44 merc would be icing on the cake! Also dug a Indian Head Penny from the 1880's, a sterling silver medal, and about 9 more wheaties! This site now has 22 silver coins dug out in three trips! Total wheat pennies now stand at 57!

Excellent silver haul. Why does it have to be the last number in the date is always missing? ? Why can't it be the first number??

It's been an amazing the last 9 weeks! I've dug out 5 silver half dollars! I usually only find 1 or 2 per year on average. That last walker is my 20th one found since starting this madness in 1985!

You might be able to dissolve the rust holding those 2 pennies together by submerging them in an apple cider vinegar bath for a day or two. Of course, you won't be able to sell the one that might be a 1909s VDB. lol
