Finally got a chance to due some swinging, as I have been busy with one of our new businesses. Went to a field we just received permission on. We found four large cents, 1781 reale 1, and a bunch of buttons. This
one below was the last find for the day on our way back to the truck. It was mixed in with a lot of iron chatter and the Ol Deus sniffed it out. I new it was a nice find but did not realize the significance of it until I got home.
This is one of my best finds, I am thrilled to say the least. 1774 UK Royal Navy Commander button found in a field in New Hampshire. Its in pretty good shape and I havent even touched it yet.

Shank still intact on back,

Thanks for looking
- Brian

Nice one Brian. Sounds like a good hunt. Why don't you post up your other finds?

I love those early one piece military buttons, Navy or Artillery, all good.
Nice find.
