Also what I believe is a book latch, (thanks Arrc).
Had the day off so I went to one of my favorite spots. It didn't disappoint. This passed rain has helped alot. Could not scare up a old silver, but ill take what the ground had to give today..
If anyone knows what the hell this mouse is, please let me know. Iam very found of it..
Also some pipe stem, black glass, and redware.
Thanks for looking
George
Ps, if anyone know what the small copper thing is with what looks like bars on it, do tell. Thanks

Congrats on those 4 LC's, I believe the mouse was a wind up type toy.

Dang George, your shovel has to look like a spoon by now. I'm gonna start calling you Mike Mulligan. Great finds as usual!

Nice going George on those greenies, and I like that bell too. BTW - that mystery item almost resembles one of those patch box covers that Brad dug the other day, but due to its curvature I highly doubt that's what it is.

Nice hunt George. Four LCs is a pretty good day. The decorative copper piece mounted on one of these oval thingys There has been a lot of debate about them on T-Net in the past They are believed to be off late 18th - early 19th century saddles to form a strap guide perhaps. But I have yet to see a picture of one on a saddle The ovals and the brackets are almost always found separately

Nice finds Vino. Still looking for my first LC. The southern ground hasn't yielded many coppers this year. Congrats!

I was just looking for the bottom piece to it. I dug last time I was there. Now that you posted them pics.
