Howdy all! Back in the field last night for a short hunt. The 73 nickel is fairly decent shape. Another small eagle and some flat buttons. The EXCELSIOR buckle has 33 stars, not sure if it was to represent Oregon or not? The brass item is hinged and appears to have had wood in them, still some in there actually, may have been a rule? Thanks for looking and Keep Swinging!!

Congrats on those cool finds. :occasion14: I agree that nickle is in way better shape than the ones I have seen or pulled. You are correct about that hinged brass piece.
