Not only did I find my first pocket spill, I found 4 in this park. Is that odd or what.
Too bad they were all clad spills. This park is not that large. Also found 45,49,58 wheats.
Spied this chain in the grass and my heart thumped, it's' only a kiddie chain.

Pretty good haul, WTG!
Although it may only be a kiddie chain, it's looks to be real silver. Nice....
Continued Good luck, & Happy hunting~

My heart would have thumped too when spying that chain. It would have been squashed up and jammed into my pocket quickly for eyeballing later. Nice post.

What a beautiful site. I like the old picture for comparison, are they moving the park, or is it errosion? Nice day for you.

CG, the old pic was taken in the 1920's. They were widening the road on the bluff above it. The city had bought the park property earlier, but had not developed it yet.

Great post, i usually rely on coin spills to push me toward my goal for the day. I have a number in my mind each time I go out of what I expect unless it is somewhere new. :)

Hey Lafitte!
Good hunting!

Is that a 308 bullet? I found a 9m/m at an old school the other day. It's the norm to find at least two or three calibers of something no matter where I hunt. Worrily, I found a live 44mag. at a Catholic church last week or so.

Nice digs , congrats.
Got to love those spills!
That chain looks like it may be silver.
Did you loop the clasp? Sometimes those style chains and clasps
have a very small hallmark "sterling" or "ster" on the clasp.

Smiles!
