From the land of the Bluenose.....8 track to cassette deck with this bouy now cooking as the new car has a cd player. Headed out today too excited behind the wheel of "Otto Moe Beal." Felt like a 16 year old who had just borrowed dad's car and was heading out to pick up a hot date. With Black Sabbath's "Iron Man" a blaring it was windows wide open, petal to the metal (actually about 5 kilometers over the speed limit) and no reverse to a local park.

Day started out nice and just enough breeze to keep the flying blood suckers at bay with not a soul in sight. Picked up a few coins and then did the trailblazer routine to a small private beach that netted a few more coins. Can't wait to swish in this little spot as I haven't done it since the time Romeo was down from Edmonton and we both found rings here.

Had to cut the dig short as Otto had a doctor's appointment so I dropped it off

and went with Ben who is Pat's son to spread her ashes in Falmouth. Of course in the process of spreading her ashes a wind came up and covered Ben and I in a grey ash. Lady just didnt want to leave us! She will be missed.

Ben and I then hit Tim's and were rather silent on the way back. He dropped me off and Otto was ready to go a purring. Must say it was sad to see Goquickski out front looking dejected.

A super smooth cruise and I was at the Big Tree which netted me a toasty 1832 Nova Scotia penny token, a military button with a flower cluster in the middle and a cheese cloth grid around the rest (once upon a time was gold guild as some remained) a buckle and a dewey with a loop that I have no clue as to what it is. Clad was 20 coins @$1.25.

I think tonight Otto will feel the soft touch of Marie on it's wheel as we take a drive out to First Lake to listen to Patsy Kline's "Crazy" and view the submarine races! Hope it's not going to be too taxing as i have three ballgames to ump starting at 0900hrs...what the halibut I'm going for it!
